Things get crazier as the prince that originally supposed to marry Fiona gets in the way.

3. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

The books by J.R.R. Tolkien are full of details that deserve a second read for a better understanding of the story. The movie series is just as meticulous and exciting in they story’s presentation.

This epic trilogy, directed by Peter Jackson, packs the whole saga into a 9-hour feature, divided into three films. The Lord of the Rings trilogy is deserving of all the awards it won, the box-office success it gathered, and the accolades it received.

Among the most popular scenes in this thrilling trilogy includes the flight of the nine members of the Fellowship in "The Fellowship of the Ring," the defeat of Saruman’s empire in "The Two Towers”, and the legend’s conclusion in "The Return of the King".

A sequel to "The Fast and the Furious", director John Singleton’s "2 Fast 2 Furious" is a full 101 minutes of drag racing action.

The film’s main character is Brian O’ Conner, a former cop who teams up with ex-con, Roman Pearce. Together, they work for the import-export dealer Carter Verone in transporting shipments of dirty money. It is revealed that the tandem also works with an undercover agent, Monica Fuentes.

7. Van Helsing

The movie stars Hugh Jackman as the vampire hunter Gabriel Van Helsing, alongside Kate Beckinsale as the lead female star. This 2004 film is a loose adaptation of the novel by "Dracula" By Bram Stoker.

Aside from "Dracula", writer and director Stephen Sommers infused other works into Val Helsing, such as the "The Wolf Man." The classic gothic horror novel "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley is also incorporated into the narrative. You will never get enough of Van Helsing’s outstanding visual effects and compelling hybrid of stories.

The movie was initially conceived as a single project, but then its producers decided to release it in two volumes since its running time reached a total of four hours.

The movies on this list do not necessarily mean that they also rank high in box office returns and DVD sales, although that trend is evident in some films. The inclusion of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Shrek in this list isn’t surprising seeing as they are two of the Top Ten Blockbuster Movies of All Time.
